This isn’t sexism, is it?

    1. To be fair, a lot of men wouldn’t report being raped or abused by a woman, so those percentages would go down by a couple of points, making them only in the low 90s! Checkmate!

I’m a man and I fucking hate the stupid macho culture we’ve all been instilled with, and this is the goddamn result. Violence all the way down.

Making this a “men vs women” thing is stupid for most of these items, unless the victims are primarily women.

    3. it’s nuanced. These are facts, but are facts subject to human error and under/over reporting.

Violent crime is almost always done by a man

Most men aren’t actually violent, most are law abiding citizens

both things can be true. not all men are evil, most aren’t even, but it’s safe to assume most evil people are men just statistically speaking.

It’s data, but kind of useless for actually solving anything

    4. It’s not sexism, it just doesn’t really expound on the societal causes of these issues that affect men more than women. I mean I could go online and say 100% of abortions are committed by women but it doesn’t really tell you anything, particularly the *why*.
