Chuck Taylors, Baja hoodie, dyed hair, and a surly look in front of Subpop is probably me at my most 90s. My mom took me to Seattle the summer after 8th grade on a musical pilgrimage. We spent hours looking for Jimi Hendrix’s grave and gave up when the sprinklers turned on. We got chased out of Kurt Cobain’s driveway. I sat outside the original Crocodile Cafe (couldn’t go in, I wasn’t old enough).
Good times, cool mom. 🙂

That’s awesome. I lived right by there about twenty years later. Jealous.

Cool moms make the world go round. Lucky I still have mine!
Nice! I actually went by Sub Pops main building but it was in the 2000s!
Very Angela Chase ❤️
Awesome!
I was probably just out of frame of that picture 🙂 . I spent most of the early 90s in Seattle.. A good number of times at the Moore.
You can see the top of my head when they pan the crowd for the pearl jam Evenflow video at the venue.
Gods I saw a lot of good music at the Moore.
Fuck yeah. We might have walked past each other by the market. Or gone to a show a Sit N’ Spin. Seattle in the 90’s was peak! Still is, but was then too.
