I was curious about how gender balance differs across countries, so I put together a simple comparison using 2025 population estimates.
The visualization is split into two charts:
• Top 5 countries with the highest percentage of women
• Top 5 countries with the highest percentage of men
I used Energent AI to generate the charts and keep the formatting consistent between both visuals. The idea was just to make the differences easy to see at a glance using the same year and scale.

What order is the women’s graph sorted by?
The men’s side makes sense. On the women’s side im kinda curious how Latvia is so high?
So you are saying I have a chance in Latvia?
All men have either left the village for work or are dying in a battlefield

The countries listed for men are as such due to the large influx of workers from South Asia, the Philippines, etc…. most of whom are non-permanent residents.
I wonder what countries would top the list when taking only permanent residents/citizens into account.
