Youtube allows AI girl livestreams. Like they create a fake AI girl to pretend to sleep in front of a computer while some minecraft thing loops with a 20 second song. AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY GIVE IT MONEY. Thankfully, people in the comments are constantly calling it out as AI and telling people not give them money. But the fact, YouTube allows it is mind blowing.

AI is never gonna go away but the bubble bursting, much like the .com bubble, will clear away a lot of the grifters and the crap and cause a lot of companies to kill their own AI investments and shitty implementation. Hopefully it’ll get them to shut down a bunch of these data centers they’ve built speculatively. Bad thing is the impact it’s gonna have on the rest of the economy. A lot of people are going to suffer. And people already have it pretty fucking bad.
