And now everyone’s plate that had a plate on top of it, also gets to try what that person ordered from the bottom of their plate :D.

At first I was like… it can’t be worth it…. But then he went down the stairs… again… and again. And again. And again. Love the coworkers jumping in to clear paths

another great example of employee exploitation and failure of food safety. please, someone tell these idiots i dont want the bottom of someone’s else plate touching my food.

    4. Where is this restaurant? On top of Mount Everest???? Bro just keeps on climbing down like a sherpa.

    5. I am a trader and each trade I do has a risk/ reward. Risk 1% get two back etc. The risk to reward to carry out all those dishes in one trip, considering if he dropped it and the chef would have to cook all those dishes again over three or four trips was not worth it at all.

    6. why didn’t the dude following him just hold the little stand for him at least 😭

    7. I hate this, I don’t know how clean this kitchen is, why is the bottom of someone’s plate touching MY FOOD

    8. There are 3 dudes involved in this… The guy clearing the way, the guy carrying everything, and the camera guy….

They could have made this less of a potential disaster, while sparing the back and shoulders of the guy currently carrying everything, by just splitting this into 3 trays and each taking one.

Unless the point is the spectacle of someone doing something totally unnecessary, then carry on I suppose.

    9. Im guessing thats between 120-150lbs of food. Which  the waiter loads it all on one shoulder, then proceeds to carry it nearly to failure for 30 sec.

If you posted a video of you doing a sloppy stand and carry, to an exercise sub, with that weight, time and ratio; people would ream you out.

But this poor SOB torques his spine outa place bc he needs the tip, and were all supposed to be amazed. Kudos to him, fuck everything else about that. A place that nice could afford more help.

    10. I get that the plates are SUPPOSED to be clean, but keep the bottom of plates away from my food you absolute weirdos. Just make the appropriate amount of trips.

    11. Only carries plates with his left hand to balance out what he does with the right. Two staunch forearms.

      This dude’s balance is stellar.

I also appreciate the dude in front of him for clearing his path.

On tonight’s episode of “people that are clearly not being paid enough for what they’re asked to do at their jobs”, someone in the restauration industry… yet again…

And on top of that he probably has to deal with customer-facing duties, unpaid overtime and tip skimming, just so he can get shamed behind his back by capitalistic pigs for “not grinding hard enough” or similar BS to justify a system designed to make rich people richer while the working class breaks their back (figuratively and literally) to barely scrape by…

I don’t know man… it’s impressive but I feel like the risk here is so high. You get a viral video out of it, but if you drop that shit the kitchen has to remake like 20 or more meals. Just have more than one server bring it out or make two trips.
