Socialism isn’t “government does thing” or even “government helps people”. It’s when works control the means of production.
If farms were collectively by their workers or a *democratic* state, that would be socialism.

People need to stop trying to approach Trump supporters from a logical point of view. Trump supporters, by their very nature, are illogical people.
Their whole ideology is fluid. Whatever Trump says is true, even if it completely conflicts with something he said earlier.

All that will do is create another need for a farmer bailout when their prices increase
