    1. Source?

The WuWa sub was flabbergasted last night. They had absolutely no idea they’d win. Gacha games even being eligible is kind of absurd since they have financial incentive to vote for their games.

    2. Victory feels sweet but when you realize the consequences it hits differently might not have been worth it

    3. When they announced nominees and every each was cheered on by audience until WuWa was mentioned and resulted in almost dead silence was enough for me. And with all scandals and bots I won’t trust Player’s choice not in a single year.

    4. Hang on, people call it WuWa? That name is singlehandedly making me consider playing it just to have an excuse to say “WuWa” in casual conversation.

    5. A player choice award would obviously be heavily skewed if there’s a chines game in it, i told my brother exactly this before they announced who won.

    6. It’s mesmerizing how Genshin Impact has no place here anymore, but people still mindlessly vote for it… (Ask me how I know, I’ve been playing since 1.2)

    7. I haven’t played it. I haven’t heard much about it either. All the other games I always hear about.

    8. Sometimes voting for your favorite character can come with unintended consequences but at least WuWa won
