How cool ! I’ve dyed clothes with acorns but it makes it a coffee brown kind of stain. I wonder what the heat does to make it turn green can someone smart explain

That doesn’t make much sense chemically. Seems most likely that there was something else in pocket with the acorns that produced the green stain.
