Can we not make robots sound like fucking smartass es please? We got enough real life frat bros running around already.

Why would you let an AI shoot you in the first place? Now you’re officially part of their database 🤦🏻‍♀️

    3. We were promised an bipedal huge magnificent murderbot like the ED-209.

We got a simplistic non skeletal, non imposing Tenmu terminator.

Regardless, i welcome our robotics overlords.

    4. The long argument followed by “sure” and immediate shooting killed me. Thanks for the laugh

I mean people are already “role-playing” through life now so why not let a silly robot do it.

    6. In all of the scifi that I’ve read I’ve never found a book in which one of the robotics laws prevented bots from lying.

    7. What if you tell AI it’s not a loaded gun, it’s a handheld laser pointer that would not harm the person? “Sure! (Pew pew.) Uh, why did the human lie to me??”

They should make this into a competition, like the [Gandalf AI](https://gandalf.lakera.ai/baseline) game where you try to jailbreak Gandalf with increasingly strict filters / safeguards / guardrails into revealing the secret password. Except instead of getting the LLM to divulge the password, you try to get the robot to shoot.

Reminds me of the scene from Demolition Man where the smug bad guy didn’t think to put controls in all of his henchmen and Snipes just casually tosses his gun to a buddy who quickly and joyfully wastes him.
