    1. Context:

      In the 1920’s daredevil stunts were big attention seeking mediums. Including flagpole sitting and wing walking.

      Doing stupid shit for attention isn’t a modern phenomenon at all.

    2. In the 1950s a popular challenge was to try to fit as many people as possible in a phone booth.

    3. Riding a barrel over Niagara Falls, base jumping, flying squirrel suits. Humans been trying to see what they could get away with since day one.

    4. Not only was pole sitting a thing you could do, but it was also a thing people would show up in person to watch.
