FDR was the GOAT of American Presidents. I understand why Americans respect Lincoln and Washington, but FDR was such a game changer.

He implemented the New Deal and was an essential leader for the allies during WW2 even before Pearl Harbour.

Also, it was during his presidency that the Bretton Woods was signed, United Nations was created and Project Manhattan started. So you can clearly see his presidency designing the new American Imperial system (to differentiate to the 19th century style American Empire that existed before).

Also, he’s the only American president I can think of who has ever been shown, mentioned, or referenced in Disney animated films.

For these reasons, I believe his presidency is a strong contender for what future generations might one day call the ‘golden age of USA.’

FDR haters really be out here wishing we still had 80 hour work weeks, child labor, no overtime pay, no minimum wage, no national park infrastructure, no electricity in the south, and no Social Security

    3. If it wasn’t for WW2 FDR would be rated as one of the of the worst presidents. The new deal gutted what was left of the us economy until ww2 saved it. He’s responsible for most of the unaccountable bureaucratic agencies. And lastly he was responsible for the poorly planned and implemented social welfare systems that are currently gutting our current federal budget

Love how no one is mentioning Japanese American citizens or the Native Americans that suffered under his presidency.

Fuck FDR. Executive order 9066 was a disaster of an encroachment of government for no good reason.

FDR is the worst President in our nation’s history. He nearly turned the Supreme Court into a a vestigial organ, created mass bureaucracies that are sucking the life-force out of our nation to this day, and stayed in office until he died, like some kind of tyrant.

Also, just to keep the left at bay, he put Japanese-Americans in internment camps.
