I didn’t think they could do worse than those ugly-ass CGI ads but they really proved me wrong

    2. Company with a lot of historically great ad campaigns convinces itself that advertising can be effective without effort or investment.

I have the feeling a major Coca Cola executive’s son graduated from business school at some point in the last few years.

Gif, I remember l, they loved advertising back then, so many commercials. Now they’re using AI?

    4. They felt really bad that Pepsi fell behind Dr Pepper and are trying their damnedest to help pump their sales up.

    5. The Coca Cola museum has decades of ads from them. They could just pick anyone of them and it wouldn’t have cost a thing.

I saw a full ad with it. Never touching it again. I’ll just make Pepsi and Morgan instead

    7. Nobody told corporate execs that none of the customers likes AI slop actually and so to them it’s the “new cool thing kids definitely like”

    8. If I had to guess the real answer is someone did the math and found that advertisement had little to no impact on overall sales (who doesn’t know what coca cola is at this point) so cutting advertising budgets is a no brainer. Then it becomes an easy avenue to jump on the AI hype train while generating lots of publicity with even cheaper ads.

    9. If they start using AI now, people will be used to it in 5 years and stop talking about it.
