I had a now ex-friend of mine that had maybe 2 braincells flitting around in his skull walk into my house one day, pick up my pellet revolver and popped me right in the cheek (he said he thought it was fake and unloaded)
Had to go into the bathroom and pull it out of my face with pliers.

Well if it’s still in there of course it would show up on an xray. It’s not like it’s going to dissolve. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could feel it by simply touching your face.

Small world. I also shot my brother in the face with a pellet/BB gun after he shot at me first. 20 pumps, 3 BBs. Nicked his nose so good it took a half circle size chunk out of one nostril. He screamed so loud that when we got home, a quarter mile away, my dad smacked his ass for screaming like a little girl. I remember looking at my brother and just my look alone had him telling our dad he slipped and fell on the ice. 1984

You are so lucky. The musician/producer Trevor Horn’s (of Buggles, the band who’s video, “Video Killed The Radio Star” was the first shown on MTV), wife was accidentally shot by her son with an airgun in 2006. She suffered irreversible brain damage and died in 2014.
This sad event has always stayed with me. So very sad.

I’ve got a piece of a rock in my face from going over the handlebars wearing middle finger aviators when I was 12. Face first into the gravel. Glass & rocks all mashed in. It was gnarly.
In my mid 40’s now & it less than half the size it started.
