    1. ADHD person here. This is not accurate at all. I couldn’t even read the book without the hula-hoop

edit: I forgot some people here need me literally say “I am not speaking for every ADHD person in the world”

I’m convinced we don’t have excess energy as kids, we syphon that energy from our adult form leaving us discombobulated walking zombies.

    3. I have no idea why anyone would consider this funny and kids do shit like this – even kids that don’t have a diagnosis. It’s disgusting that the TikTok user (and now OP) exploits their kid like this for clicks.

Why do Americans have this obsession with diagnosing their children with something and pumping them with drugs they don’t need?

That’s just a young boy, with a lot of energy and curiosity. Entirely normal… But you’ll rot his brain with legal meth for 15 years because pharmaceuticals have convinced Americans with very strategic propaganda and lobbying that every headache can be solved with a pill.

    5. I used to play with my transformers and I used to roller blade at the same time. Up and down the driveway for like 2 hours straight. In fact all my action figures were primarily played with when I was skating.

    6. I’d probably forget to hula hoop and then start asking, why do I have a book in my hand?

    7. Will never understand this type of videos; it’s like parents behave they got a shiny Pokémon

    8. He reminds me of the little kid in The Hudsucker Proxy who discovers the Hula Hoop. It’s a movie from 1994, with Tim Robbins, would recommend, it’s a quirky comedy.
