    1. angle C is general;
      angle B = E (because ED || AB);
      angle A = D ( EB || AB again) => 3 angles are same, triangles are similiar! Boom.

      ts is from 8 class idk

    2. There is no need to use trigonometry here.

      DE || AB => angle CDE = angle CAB

      Angle C is equal to itself

      and there you have it, proved.

    3. This has a theorem known as Basic Proportionality Theorem where both the triangles are similar.

    4. You would’ve solved it if you pay attention in class I guess. This is a very simple solution.

      Parallel means those angles are the same A=D & B=E the rest is pretty much the definition of similar triangles
