Welcome back to another entry in William's life! Thanks again for all the support on the previous parts!
This week we continue to see William lock in on his studies (especially after his offer from Va last week!), learn some interesting news about Jan, watch some movies with buddies, recount some dreams, and much more!

**Monday, March 6th (Clear/Cloudy)**
Dreamt again. About tennis again. This time at home and, again, I couldn’t see Jan play. All this must arise from time I thought I saws her at the courts, but didn’t *[Interesting! this is mentioned in William’s* [Jan 31st](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWayWeWere/comments/1p4sao2/excerpts_from_a_physic_students_extensive_1950/) *Entry]*. Took laundry down. Check with [Dr. Pete](https://imgur.com/a/IjwAQu0) about any strings to that offer, a suspicion which [Bruce ](https://imgur.com/a/54tJg9v)raised in my mind yesterday. There are no strings attached whatsoever! *[Woohoo!]*
Time marches on in Va, however. Boy, did I get mail today! First a big mail manila envelope from D.D. *[Dearest Dad]* this AM included Cornell Alumni News (in which Cornell, leading Dartmouth by one point with 2 seconds left in the game saw D. heave the ball in bounds, the recipient hooking blindly over his head, from beyond midcourt. The ball swishing through the net, though the gun sounded while it was in midair. So C. lost a heartbreaker, like N. Carolina beat Davidson last year) *[Wow!]*, [Clark’s](https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/49167349/robert_adair-clark) letter, and a letter expressing congratulations, etc., and also my anxious thoughts about the bird in the hand Va offer.
Studied some A.C. *[Advanced Calculus]*. Looked after E*[lectronics]*, copying some circuits from* [*CAB* ](https://imgur.com/a/2g0CW9u)[Charlie for new readers]*. I don’t think E. will be too hard. Worked on E. problems, finally finishing them before going to bed and enjoying seeing CAB blunder along with his figures :-)! *[lol!]*.
Got another bunch of before supper. A letter from Mother (says at Cronmiller’s Jan kept her company for a while, said she had 3 A’s and 2 B’s, and **went out with a tall, dark-haired boy who works at Publix.** *[Whaat?!?!]*. Harrumph! 🙁 :-). Wait till I get home! 🙂 *[lol!]*. Another letter from D.D. acknowledging possibility of new offer. It was in this that he expressed bird-in-hand attitude.
And finally got a letter from [Tommy](https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/18843021/thomas_burnett-swann), returning my S.S. Didn’t study much more tonight. Wrote German and wrote Mr. Clark a letter. To bed at 11:15.
