Is Toaru actually good or just everyone here for the girls?

    1. Toaru is genuinely good if you enjoy deep lore, science-magic worldbuilding, and chaotic storytelling.

    2. It’s a great series. If it feels generic or tropey, it’s only because it’s the one that set the standard for the genre 20 years ago.

    3. It’s very good. The anime just has a…rocky adaptation.

      Railgun adaptations are great.

      Accelerator adaptation is kinda mediocre.

Index adaptation start off fine, then slowly slides downhill, which then suddenly transitions into a full Olympic nosedive more spectacular than Rock Lee’s Primary Lotus in season 3.

Crazy how 1 studio (JC) did all of these yet has such a wildly inconsistent quality (apparently they were given a very unreasonable timeline for S3).

    4. **To be honest, I think Toaru Index is crap, but I watched it because I liked Toaru Railgun and wanted to see more of these characters**

    5. Index is ok, hlgets worse by the later seasons. Especially 3rd one.

Railgun is genuinely great… probably since it’s not a harem slop.

Accelerator could be great, but adaptation is just ok.
