Context: the 1939 wizard of Oz film is a cinema classic but also a death trap to cast. The actress who played Dorothy was prescribed a cocktail of drugs to “optimize” her career while being sexually harassed by the munchkin actors and psychologically tormented by the director. The wicked witch went to the hospital after a pyrotechnic went bad. The lion was on the verge of heatstroke the entire shoot. Both tin man actors suffered health issues due to make up. The snow in one scene is pure asbestos.
I could also make this meme about Christopher Lee and the hammer mummy film almost killing him.
Edit: I forgot to mention the actress for Dorthy would later die to substance abuse that she developed from this part of her career.

The only saving grace I found is that the asbesto snow was made of Crysotile asbestos that is much less aggressive and cancergenic than the other varieties.

I think we all now know that this curse seem to keep happening, because the cast of Wicked seems to have left with some kind of PTSD and I am not talking just about Ariana and Cynthia
