Seriously a disproportionate amount of the most famous games of all time were from Poland. It’s one of their biggest industries right he behind hating Russia.

What is interesting to me about this is how, as someone with Polish ancestry (one side of the fam were WW2 refugees and the other side left right before WW1), but who never lived under communism, the gaming thing has always made complete sense to me.
i.e. It doesn’t surprise me that Poles seemingly like to make games and are good at it. Not sure exactly why that is, but would love to hear it from the perspective of a citizen. Maybe it is just a random correlation that doesn’t mean much.
and yes the dislike of Russia carries on at least a few generations as well (but also a general mistrust of Germany).
