    1. Interesting thing that one of the most famous quotes from the character in profile pic is “war with Turk must be”. And he means the Ottoman empire.

      Well during the 19th century, the nearest Muslim empire to most Europeans, and the one that most countries bordered, was the Ottoman Empire, an empire whose capital was in Turkey and whose sultans and ruling culture were Turkish

      I find it especially funny when reading quotes in a history book talking about “Turks” led by guys named stuff like Gregorio Bregante, born in Genoa.
