The control tower on Ford field is peppered with bullet holes. Hawaii has a lot of history that’s worth exploring. Nothing has been maintained and nothing has changed so you can stand in the midst of history. It’s quite an experience.

Our house in France (Brittany) had a German sniper bullet sticking out of one of the dinning room windows until we replaced the windows 20 years ago. It had even been painted over!

There was actually a followup attack in March. It did not go well.
To the point that apparantly there was confusion about why the (US) navy was shelling random sparsely populated parts of the island. (little damag).
