My father was an iron worker. He was specifically a connector. He gave us kids a guided tour to the top of a building under construction once. He walked beams hundreds of feet up only inches wide. From that point forward, we were both awestruck and a tad bit weary about our father. You really have to be a bit unhinged to do that for a living.

    2. I can climb any tree, any tower… that’s not the part that impresses me. It the question that follows, “how do I get back down?” That’s the part that scares me.

      Cool photo.

    3. Okay I know it’s not faked but how did he get there and how the hell did he get down?? This is insane.

    4. At first glance it looks like he’s fucking insane, but if you look closer you can see he is clothed and therefore only normal insane

    5. I am terrified of heights. This is a trigger. LOL. If you are, don’t google this, but back in 70’s or 80’s there was guy who walked a tightrope between what was then the World Trade Center. It is terrifying to watch.

When I’m at an extreme height or imagining myself in positions like this, I always worry my brain will short circuit tell my body to do something fatal.

    7. I’m not afraid of heights, but I get vertigo if I’m not extremely careful and vigilant. I would fall off that sucker so fast. Holy crap.
