      Before watching this, I genuinely thought climbing Everest was doable. Now I’m shocked anyone has ever managed it. That mountain is enormous.

    2. i’m going to guess that was a specially constructed drone, maybe with extra blades or speed. the air is too thin up there for most helicopters.

      Awesome video! Didn’t know drones could fly that high.
      I’m currently reading Jon Krakauers book – into thin air. This really helps to visualise the story.

    5. The sheer magnitude of that mountain blows my mind. I could not imagine walking all the way to the top.

    6. As a sucker for mountaineering (from my computer chair) I’d love to see this for some of the other big peaks, like K2, Annapurna ,or Nanga Parbat, which are considered considerably more dangerous.

    7. Very disappointing ending there. Why did they decide to face more downwards at the last bit? Kinda ruined it.

    8. Imagine getting to the top of Everest, sacred ground and the highest peak in the world, after working your ass off to get there and sitting and enjoying the achievement and taking in the majesty, and some dimwit starts buzzing a drone overhead… some people man…

    9. Incredible video but I gotta say whoever edited it somehow waited for the most interesting moments to cut to the next clips

      Following the long approach and about to get the view of a new base camp: immediately cut to some random tracks in the snow with no context

      Finally reach the summit of the mountain: near instant cut to some valley instead of
