At least if the power goes out in your house, your pedaling will still be OSHA compliant.

Cheaper to get something mass produced than the extra cost of getting custom made…

I must reflect upon why they’d do this. Nice socks, BTW.

Makes sense, there’s no reason to make specialised pedals for a stationary bike. I’d say serious indoor cyclists would probably put their own road bike pedal on there.

I’d imagine it’s because it was cheaper for them. The ones with reflectors are probably mass produced, something else may have cost them more.

Quite normal. Probably the same as for actual bikes.

Simple reason, it’s to warn approaching vehicles of your presence in the queue while you are stuck in traffic.

It’s in case there’s any race car beds around so they can see you.

More accurate to say “my stationary bike comes with bike pedals”. Bike pedals come with reflectors.

Missed the “stationary” part on my first read and was baffled for a few seconds, lol

Honestly feels like they just grabbed a box of generic pedals without thinking. At least you’ll be extra visible in your living room.

I skimmed the title and I was wondering what made you perplexed about bike pedals with reflectors and then I realized you were talking about a stationary one.
