I’m in my 30s and am still at the kids table. But the kids table at in our family now ranges from mid 20s-mid 30s.
The grandkids are actually at the adult table and the grandparents watch them. It’s gone full circle.

When I was 47 and freshly diagnosed with autism my older brother said “Well you did always choose to sit at the children’s table on holidays”. It’s true. I was never comfortable around the adults even when I was one! lol The children’s table was always light and happy. The kids were in party mode. The adults were too adulty.
