Right-wing hatemonger pastor getting community noted – perhaps find a new job if you can’t even understand basic tenants?

    1. If Jesus came back he would find a whip and chase this guy out of whatever building he was in at the moment.

‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ Matthew 25:41-43

I’m sure that his collection baskets were filled to overflowing yesterday as expression of christian solidarity with his rejection of sinners.

    4. Churches should not be hiring hateful blasphemers.

The people who attend that church are the people who pay that guys salary. This is a community problem. Someone needs to go this church and ask the parishioners where they stand on the topic, on live stream.

Most American Christians, and 100% of MAGAs that identify as Christian, desperately hate the actual things Jesus told them to do.

I can remember when a church was supportive and charitable to those in need. **“Anyone in need”** was the supposed criteria and when they didn’t have the means they would track down the information of who might be able to offer assistance.

**Even when they couldn’t help**, they kindly would pass on information about government agencies, local charities and food banks.

**The Bible describes Christian charity as** the highest form of love, characterized by unselfish giving and compassion for others. It emphasizes that true faith must be accompanied by charitable actions, such as helping the poor, and that this giving is a necessary form of worship that reflects God’s love and brings blessings.

The Bible teaches that Christians should show charity to **all people**, including non-believers. This is the basis of. the principle of loving your neighbor and the example of Jesus. God “causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good” (Matthew 5:45)

    7. You need to understand that MAGA agree with him.

The only people he upsets are people that will never side with him.

    8. When assessing the morality of Christianity, it’s important to remember how Christianity was pretty OK with chattel slavery enough to fight a war over it (see Texas articles of succession and why the southern baptist convention was formed) and how the Catholic church showed it was also compatible with systematic child abuse. It is also relevant for all the evil that has been done with their claim of divine command. The KKK, the lords resistance army, the Catholic nazi’s wearing belt buckles that said “got mit uns”, the inquisitions, the crusades and the other religious based wars.

Then there is the foundational core of Christianity on being judged solely on what can rationally be called making gullibility into a virtue. Salvation is ultimately dependent on holding a blind and dumb belief.

The old testament clearly says the law is forever and for gentiles.

Exodus 21:20 “When a slaveowner strikes a male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies immediately, the owner shall be punished. 21 But if the slave survives a day or two, there is no punishment, for the slave is the owner’s property.

Leviticus 19:18 NRSVUE You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

Owning non-Israel people as beatable farm equipment – chattel slavery is biblically compatible with “love your neighbor”.

    9. Deuteronomy isn’t Christian text. That includes the Ten Commandments. How are people still not getting this?

    10. So he is pro starving babies, that’s an interesting take that I’m sure his lord and savior also preached and committed too. Jesus famously never shared food with anyone.

I wonder if he’d feel this way about single dads. I saw this guy yesterday and had to look him up. He’s a vile excuse for a human being.

    12. When you ask what would Jesus do? Just remember, flipping tables and freaking out is a reasonable answer

If these c*nts aren’t going to even pretend to be Christians anymore than I say it’s time to re-evaluate the whole freedom of religion aspect, i.e. a constitutional amendment making state atheism the law of the land. Do what you want at home or in your place of worship but I don’t want these Bible thumpers bringing it anywhere near my government.

    14. Christianity, and indeed all religions, have always had an internal battle between people who truly believe in the tenets of the faith and try to live by them and people who profess to believe when really all they care about is power.

The fact that people like this don’t get smited (smote?) every day would surely test my faith if I had some.

If a man uses the word “fornicate” I automatically assume he’s a serial rapist and quite possibly a serial killer

But these are the new beliefs of the Christian Church. When they decided to stand there quietly while their pulpits were turned into political campaign stops for mAGA they decided that what Christ said no longer matters because he’s too woke.
