Who are the modern economists pushing for only land (value) taxes?
Feels like such a fringe topic in any modern political system, ive yet to see any concrete proposals or applications of it anwhere.

If you want to be factually acurate you would go not with land tax but with poll tax, going with e.g. Miedieval taxation as start point, break with e.g. physiocrats and finishing with return to poll tax by neoclassicals as it is formally tax system that keeps markets most efficient.
