    1. The important thing to remember is Scott Bessent is a moron. It’s entirely possible that he actually believes this.

He’s not wrong, it’s just that traditionally most presidents signature policies aren’t illegal.

    3. Trump has a signature policy of extra-territorial murder without even attempting to identify the criminals or prove that they are committing crimes and not press charges against survivors because the burden of proof could not be met.

      Is that ok too?

    4. yes, they operate with another constitution, theirs is one sentence long and that sentence is “we get to do whatever we want and you are never allowed to have any power”

    5. Traditionally our presidents have not violated the Constitutionally-mandated separation of powers within our government so SCOTUS didn’t need to step in.

Only the Legislative branch has the power to establish taxes for reasons grade-schoolers understand; or have conservatives forgotten about “taxation without representation” and how it was a major factor in the formation of this nation?

I guess he doesn’t consider Student Loan Forgiveness to have been one of Biden’s signature policies.

Like all the “traditional” times these fuckers tried to end Obamacare through the SC?

    8. What in the ever loving fuck is Scotty talking about?

I think it’s really time to look past the suits and the smug self righteous demeanor and start to consider the idea that these fucking assholes are on drugs.

    9. Is there a “signature policy” clause in the Constitution somewhere?

      POTUS: I’m levying tariffs

      SCOTUS: that violates the constitution

POTUS: This is one of my “signature policies”

SCOTUS: Oh, well… signature policy, then I should take some time to reconsider.

    10. This is just setting the doubt in people’s minds now since they know they will probably loose at the SC. If they start saying in every interview “the SC doesn’t normally interfere with a presidents signature policies” people will get that in their head. Then when they loose in court they can go on and on about how unfair this is, it’s a witch hunt, the deep state, etc… and they can say they won’t follow the ruling because it’s obviously unconstitutional

And the sad thing is a good number of people will start to believe them

TRADITIONALLY NO PRESIDENT IN HISTORY has done this shit to this level; also Tradition and LAW are two SEPARATE things and cannot be substituted for one another…at least both directions.

Traditionally, the Supreme Court cares about tradition and the law. Traditionally, the president is not an completely ignorant bumpkin who does random stuff he thinks is cool and/or ‘triggers the libs’.

    13. Because there NEVER BEEN A PRESIDENT DUMB ENOUGH TO MAKE HIS SIGNATURE POLICY ILLEGAL…until now.

I seem to recall FDR being so butthurt over the Supreme Court striking down his New Deal policies he wanted to pack the court.

    15. They’ve been trying to undo Obama’s signature policy for about 15 years and it hasn’t worked yet.

    16. Is a “signature policy” something like a “franchise player”? WTF is he talking about lol

    17. A signature policy is not like a franchise player. You can’t just pick a policy that violates the law and expect it to be left alone.

Trump doesn’t care about the constitution and neither does the Extreme Court he literally appointed.

Hundreds of legal constitutional scholars have signed petitions, stating that this is the most religious ideological and political Supreme Court in America’s history.

Rather than framing, judicial law, using the law, they are in actuality, framing their decisions on a political and religious basis.

This Supreme Court is the first Supreme Court to remove citizens rights in American history. Presidents no longer matters and a preference to Christian religious freedoms are apparent.

Numerous rulings in favor of Christian based rights and protections have been issued while other religious beliefs have had their cases either dismissed or ruled against.

There were two cases, nearly identical were a persons religious belief was used to deny services to an American individual . One case involved, a Christian ownedbakery, deciding not to make cakes for LGBTQ individuals on religious grounds and the other was a jewishcatering company, not wanting to prepare and serve pork products for Christian clientele.

The Supreme Court ruled the Christian bakery, who had not been requested by the LGBTQ community to ever make a cake had the right to deny the LGBTQ community on religious grounds, but they dismissed the case of the Jewish catering company, saying their religious beliefs were not a valid response.

      WTF?

In what way is that equality? In what way is that a fair interpretation of the law? In what way is that an impartial rule? In what way is that honoring the premise for our constitution?

    19. Do you ever watch these idiots knowing full well you could lie better than them and probably know more about it than they do?

      Or is that just me?

It’s called contact delusional fantasy. Trump’s Cabinet Members are sharing the same delusional fantasies created by his malignant narcissism. It is really evident in the first hour or two of every cabinet meeting where each of the cabinet secretaries all line up to kiss Trump’s ass and tell him what a great and powerful leader he is.

Lmfao “signature policy” is the new “art of the deal” and it’s all code for absolute ‘moron fucking shit up’

    22. Traditionally the president’s policies are subject to the checks and balances of the other two branches of government.
