    1. Why the fuck am I somewhat sympathizing with and agreeing on some select issues with MTG?!?! Are we in bizzaro world now?

      Womp womp

Shoulda opened a history book; fascists always eat their own at the slightest hint of dissent

There’s no way back for her. She needs to spill some beans before one of these weapons grade loons gets ideas of martyrdom.

    4. She dogpiled on school shooting victims and stalked them in person.

I won’t lose any sleep on this.

    5. She is part of the machine that made political violence normalized.

She just never thought she would be potentially on the receiving end.

There should be no political violence but to complain about it only after it becomes a personal issue is rather convenient.

    6. I know we’re mostly over the 🐆 🍴🥴 thing, but I think it truly applies here. From someone who fueled and weaponized the “PIC” to someone who (for now) says we need to end it.

I don’t think political violence towards anyone is OK, even people who I think are crackpots. Trump and his minions are the ones in the wrong. Every American has the right to free speech — even dumb and crazy ones. The fact that she feels physically threatened because she’s not 100% aligned with MAGA on some issues is shocking.

I also think if she starts going on an apology tour, we should stop bullying her (we saw hints of an apology with her appearance on The View). That doesn’t mean we need to accept her or celebrate her, but we shouldn’t wish her ill once she apologizes for the hurt she’s caused.

    8. GOP is full of narcissists who can’t comprehend a situation until they, themselves, experience it

“…This is completely shocking to everyone…” Sorry Madge, it is really not at all shocking to those of us with that “common sense” you all brag so much about having.

I think people having their eyes opened like this should be a little more welcoming to people than it is. If you just further push hate on people learning finally what they have been doing. It’s only going to possibly keep them from doing the right thing and making changes on how they vote etc. she is still a piece of shit, but a little less stinky now at least.

    11. I think I would’ve liked this post more if she added the victims of Trump’s threats in addition to the victims of Epstein – since y’know, democrat governors and such were targeted by trump’s cult too.

    12. > this is completely shocking to everyone

We’ve all watched him use people and betray them when it suited his agenda for decades, but sure, completely shocking if you’re incapable of pattern recognition 🤣

    13. No one who has paid any attention over the last decade should be surprised. MAGA is a deranged cult and to see them turning on MTG like this only solidifies that fact.

    14. Is this the lady that chased the school shooting survivor down the sidewalk to make political points with the other deplorables? Hell is waiting for all you traitors.

Empathy is not woke, it’s human.

I empathize with anyone who receives threats because they’ve been targeted by the political elite.

I also recognize the irony that is directed at her now, after her history.

      Interesting footnote here.

MTG has, for most of her career, been a thoroughly loathed figure for those of us on the political left. From her unabashed stupidity to her supporting hateful anti-immigration policies to her spouting QAnon conspiracy theories, there is no great affection for her on this end of the political spectrum.

But notice how she’s only *now* getting death threats… and they’re coming from people on her side of the political fence?

Do you think maybe that’ll lead Marge to doing some soul-searching? Some reevaluation of the crowd she aligns with? Where are those Christian values the GOP loves to goon over?

I can’t stand MTG. I think she’s an utter embarrassment and I stand against pretty much everything she stands *for* politically. But I would never, *ever*— not in a million years— send her a death threat. She’s a human being and she should be afforded dignity and safety… even if she won’t afford that to others.

    17. Political violence has no place in a free society.

I think she’s a fool who might be experiencing karma for the first time in her life but let that be limited to professional failure, etc.
