Next season on Walmart thrilling footage of me debating which cereal box has the least dents.

Everyone in a public facing role should have one, might stop so many people being gigantic entitled arseholes

    3. Boss will say to protect from the sketchy people, and I bet its true

But was approved to lower staff stealing stuff to recover from being underpaid <.<

No not saying all retail peep steal stuff, as retail are underpaid compared to the huge profit.

But, blind and stupid to think no one does keep a thing or 2 time to time.

    4. News to me. Not in the pharmacy at least, but then again the number of environmental cameras in the pharmacy is likely adequate.

    5. Since part of being an employee is potentially starring in a streamer’s “be shitty in Wal-Mart” ‘prank’ or whatever, I think it’s good they’ll have the full side of the story and be recording them back.

    6. Honestly, good for them. They deal with some absolute bull shit. This is a good use of technology. People can’t be trusted to act responsibly in a Walmart

I mean, I don’t blame them. I’ve though about getting my own discrete body cam to record all interactions. Could have saved my ass that time my boss told me a story about his buddy getting his prostate electrically milked at a sperm bank in another country and then told HR that I was the one who brought it up.

    8. My local Tesco express staff wear them. They put up perspex security windows around the till area since some people hopped the counter and stole all the cigarettes. This happened midday

    9. Ok that is stupid. Why? They don’t have cameras everywhere in the store like any other store in the world?

    10. This totally makes sense to me, considering Walmart employees have to deal with crazy people more than cops do

    11. They do safety stuff like this store to store. Like how one store locks up detergent or condoms but not all stores. It’s usually a response to something. I gotta know what happened for body cams to be necessary. I suspect a lot of cashiers skipping scans or a lot of repeat robberies.

    12. For the People of Walmart extended cut.  I wonder when they will just be replaced with robots and be ok with it.

    13. Under the guise of protecting the employee, it’s going to be used to punish them instead

“I noticed you didn’t tell then about the rewards program” and whatnot..

    14. When I was a cashier at Walmart, some bastard threatened to punch me in my mouth when I closed my lane at the end of my shift. Fuck Walmarts shitty clientele

It is a good thing because the public is crazy and armed and mental health care is indequately funded. If someone is assaulted while trying to do their job, there is a second source of video evidence that can be used to lock up the attackers besides just the overhead store cams

    16. Good. Hopefully this means less TikTok morons harassing and abusing the fuck out of employees trying to do their jobs.
