Look, I’ve seen the Matt Damon movie, I know how it is. This is obviously not the important part. The aliens were never interested in this part of the wall.

    2. It is also considered the largest cemetery in the world, occupies up to a million bodies of the workers who died during its construction

Xi Xia Empire: “No need to guard the Gobi desert. Its a wasteland. Only a madman would try to invade through it.”

      Genghis Khan: “Challenge accepted!”

Saw some of the Han Dynasty Great Wall this past summer at Yumenguan, Gansu (near Dunhuang). Desolate, blazing hot, but beautiful and cool all the same.

    5. The fact that it just fades into the desert like that is wild. Makes you realize how massive and ancient this structure really is.
