It’s insane how something so essential can have such a ridiculous price tag. Glad insurance covered it, but wow.

I take a bi-monthly med that “costs” $27,000. Whenever it gets delivered we joke it’s the most expensive thing we own.

They mark the price up so that your insurance gets to mark it back down. And to fuck you over completely if you don’t have insurance

I bet if you ask Gemini it’ll say something like the cost of the drug is like $0.15 per pill. Our insurance system is such a scam.

This is why the pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies need to quit ripping people off. The government needs to regulate these industries, setting a fixed rate for both insurance, medical procedures and medications.

It feeds pharma execs their fancy caviar and bubbly dinner. All while somehow avoiding taxes.

I am so very glad my treatment for mental health issues wasn’t billed a single cent of the total sum of some 130.000 dollars over a period of 3 years.
Then again, I’m not an American citizen.

Man, if someone is spending $1000 a month for food, they need to cut back on some of the champagne and caviar.
