Remember how in 2024, Trump went into a restaurant, offered to pay for everyone’s meal, and left without paying a cent even though he himself ordered something?

Oh great so when they sue we the taxpayers instead of that jackass will foot the bill. Though I suppose we were footing the bill regardless.

    2. I will always wonder why *anyone ever* trusts Trump to pay them for goods and services. He’s been blowing off contracts and ignoring unpaid balances for 40 years.

At this point, *that’s on you*.

    3. At this point if youre mad at Trump not paying you it’s on you. He’s been not paying people since the 70s

Didn’t anyone tell the company that their work is also a donation to the big beautiful ballroom?

    5. THIS HAS BEEN HIS STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR HIS ENTIRE FUCKING BUSINESS LIFE…AND YOU PEOPLE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT NOW!?!

      HA!! FUCKING!! HA!! HA!!

    6. whowhodillybar on

Of course they didn’t get paid. Why the fuck would the grifter that is known for not paying people’s services pay for theirs? Why does anyone think he won’t flip and fuck over anyone at anytime.

They told Trump they wanted to do it to help build the Epstein ballroom with tears in their eyes! Have fun with your unpaid bill, dipshits.

    8. lol

This is exactly a case of “That leopard would never eat MY face!”

You idiots. He has a long history of not paying people, companies and cities.

You seriously thought you would be different? Your company demolished a piece of the heart of the USA, disgracing your company, giving the middle finger to the American people, and now you don’t get paid for your services?

Go cry to somebody who cares. You deserve it.

    9. To the surprise of ABSOLUTELY NO-ONE…

His track record is as long as both your arms. Why does anyone trust or do business with this lying grifters?

    10. Wow, who would have thought that the most litigious person in history, who has a history of stiffing staff and contractors would stiff staff and contractors. I am shocked…./s

    11. He has been sociopathically pulling these unpaid bills since the 80s. It’s a trip for his malignant narcissistic behavior. It’s his endorphin high. It’s how he exists.

Rick! Rick! The Kennedy sex tunnels have been exposed! We need your help getting Lincoln back in!

Long before Trump was president. This is the most common thing about working for Donald Trump. He doesn’t pay his bills. He has never paid his contractors for what they’ve billed.

Donald Trump held (before he was even president) the rank of the most sued man and business in US history. Virtually every contractor has had to sue Donald J Trump in court to get paid. From the architect to the company that supplies the door knobs in his buildings Trump has always restricted access to the money owed.

This isn’t new, isn’t shocking and is par for the course, pardon my pun

I dont understand why anyone does any work for him. Its not like he doesn’t have years of not paying contractors 😂🤷

    15. snopes says it’s not true

that said, I will not be surprised if he pockets much of the money that is to go for the demo construction and if he stiffs some businesses (I’d love it it he refuses to pay because they didn’t get proper authorization)

    16. This is why he wants 230 million from the US Government for his “pain & suffering.” He was always planning to rob Peter to pay Paul. My guess is he pocketed the generous donations for his ballroom, and he wants us to pay for it.

    17. At this point, that’s on the construction company for ignoring his well-documented, lifelong history of doing this exact thing. Fool me once, etc, etc.

When I learned that donor money was funding the Trump Ballroom, I made a prediction to my husband: Trump will take the donations, complete the construction, then refuse to pay the contractors—ultimately pocketing the funds and leaving the U.S. government responsible for the bill.

Next will be federal charges for demolishing a historic building…. Drop said charges for dropping the payment, Art of the Deal.

If this is true, I can’t find any info other than ACECO taking down their website due to all the bad press around them pulling down a house that Trump is renting.

At this point I don’t feel bad for companies that don’t get paid after doing work for them. It’s not like they have a strong history of repaying debts owed. This is why the Trump family always went to Russian banks for money, no one here will lend them a cent.

    22. ArnieismyDMname on

Damn. It’s not true. I don’t doubt it WILL be true. At this point it hasn’t happened yet. The company is having some insurance issues due to it being a historical building.

    23. Welcome to the FUCKING CLUB. That fucking prick has ripped off every trades men that ever worked for him.
