    1. Sure, no one uses the google search summary, or begins a sentence with “I asked ChatGPT”, they all hate it. a porn-positive OpenAI will definitely not find any users as well. And LinkedIn… oh LinkedIn users *hate* to write anything with AI.

I am not a Techbro and i dislike AI slop as well, but lets be realistic…

    2. Cat is out of the bag im afraid. Give it a couple years and it’ll die out like whole metaverse thing

As a Chef I find AI incredibly useful. If I need a specific recipe I just ask chat gbt for one and then Modify it.

What’s the difference of doing that or just checking several cookbooks myself, everything in gastronomy is stolen anyways

    4. Where you been bro? It’s been that way for over a year and it’s only been ramping up. Once the Facebook grandmas got ahold of it, it was all over.

    5. “***There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home***.” Ken Olsen, president, chairman and founder of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) 1977

**“Almost all of the many predictions now being made about 1996 hinge on the Internet’s continuing exponential growth. But I predict the Internet will soon go spectacularly supernova and in 1996 catastrophically collapse.”**

*Robert Metcalfe, founder of 3Com, 1995*

    6. I’m not an AI fan. Aside from the environmental impact, the damage to creativity, employment and the fact it’s like asking a drunk uncle to google something for you and then explain the result after he’s had another shot, I’ve seen way too many Sci-Fi movies and know how this all ends. But I REALLY hate the term “AI Slop”. It’s all everyone uses. Very few variations and I figured somebody would have thrown a better term in the mix by now. Now I fear someone will use AI to make a better term for it.

Classic “Batman is just a regular human”

Who hasn’t snapped a shotgun in half to make a point ammiright

    8. First step : Get off Reddit.

Reddit makes a large chunk of their profits from selling data to AI companies, so using it is supporting AI.

    9. I strongly encourage you all to not use AI, so that I can continue to use it at work to assist me with my job and you guys can all stay jobless since you refuse to use it. Good job security for me
