one of the things that held down bleach is that ichigo is a reactive mc that has no goals.

he just defeats the villain of the week then goes back home then defeat the next villain of the week then goes back home.

it doesn’t really have a plot it’s more like powerpuff girls type of setting tbh.

the author makes it seems like it has a plot but it doesnt, first it was aizen who manipulated all of ichigo’s life, then it was zangetsu, then it was ywach.

      then something something full bringer

    2. It was either this, or becoming the chain holding the world together. But then he couldn’t have clapped Inoue’s cheeks.

    3. Growing up is realizing that Ichigo got the best ending. He has a sexy wife, good kid, relaxing job, regularly meets up with his friends to have fun, still has all of his powers and is considered a legend by the Soul Society. Meanwhile Naruto barely has any time for his kids and is constantly stressed out.

    4. Ichigo did not jave ambitions to be mayor or king or emperor or whatever else, though 🤷

    5. How goals change

Ambition grows until you sniff the strings attached to it, and then you’re like “wait hang on a minute, this makes for a life that IMPRESSES, not SATISFIES…”
