To think, just 6 months ago, Trump hadn’t even heard the word “groceries”, now he is a market expert!

It’s not going to matter what they say. We live out here. We have to pay for everything we eat, all the gas for our cars, mortgages, rent, health care, car and house insurance, utilities, school, child care, medications, and a myriad of other things we need and use. We have to pay for all of it. AND ALL OF IT IS INCREASING IN PRICE.
Your stupid, ignorant, words can’t change what our wallets know to be true. 🙂

I can reduce that price even further by replacing those 15 items with a single bottle of Jones Soda Turkey and Gravy Soda.
It’s so discouraging watching regular people on the right worship Trump who is telling them they now live in a golden age, while simultaneously they complain about being financially squeezed in all directions.
Do they never tire of being lied to?

The 2025 meal is supposed to serve 10 whereas more food in 2024 was for 8 people. They also eliminated the Marie Callender pie, canned cranberry sauce and several other things.
Apples to Apples, the 2024 dinner is approximately 40% More expensive this year!

Republicans think you’re stupid, maybe you are dunno. But the “meal” is sold at or near cost as a “loss leader,” like selling a gallon of milk for 1.99usd.
Wally’s is using the meal “deal” to increase foot traffic. And once they’ve got you in the store, they know a good many of you will spend waaaay more than the cost of the meal on other items. I mean, Walmart just missed it’s first earnings target in the last 3yrs so it’s not a surprise that Wally’s wants to up foot traffic. So this Wally’s Turkey Day meal is hardly an indicator of the health of the economy, at least it’s not the best indicator we have at our disposal. The better indicator is the fact that Wally’s missed it’s first earnings call for the first time in 3yrs and that’s not a coincidence that it happens during the time Trump has imposed sweeping illegal tariffs.

Breaking: WalMart just announced that they’re sniveling groveling cowards by shrinking the amount of food included and lowering the quality of their Thanksgiving meals, just so their dear leader can plausibly lie to the general public.
