Correction: The structure in the bottom left, the Kiosk of Taharqa, was constructed in Egypt by the 25th dynasty, whose rulers were Nubian. So technically not sub-saharan, but black.

It’s really hard to get books or podcasts on sub Saharan pre colonial history. They get ignored.
