    2. I ATV in Maine, and have had this experience with partridge. The ATV isn’t shiny or anything (it’s typically covered in mud/dust), they will just follow you until they can’t anymore. I suspect it is a cross between the bird not understand you are a human in a car; and the bird assuming you are a threat that it can scare-off.

      Edit: if you get out of the car, the bird will mostly likely run away. At least thats been my experience.

      You should be came out from your car and trace him, I sure that he may be want some kind of help from human being but you took it funny. very bad shameful act.

      I don’t know if it helps, but my truck is also bright red.

    5. A young male pheasant. Short tail and bold as brass, they will run in front of everything, including massive harvesters collecting corn.
