It’s such a nonsense actually. I’m against commercializing AI, too. But when it comes to stuff like silly memes which are not made for profit, it’s weird that people even care. Most memes are not made with fancy tools such as Photoshop. Most people use generic meme generators, which is even less effort than typing a prompt into an AI tool. To me, it’s more important if a meme uses correct spelling. Whenever I see the typical “your” vs. “you’re” mistakes, I will downvote because of low effort. No matter how it was created in the first place.
