      A Trump takeover is worse than a pandemic. I’m not even joking, the sales decline is worse than the aftermath of COVID-19.

      Hardly surprising.

      The regular crowds are probably upset that the Trump administration are messing with the normal shows put on at the centre (to get rid of the supposed “woke/dei” performances, or whatever nonsense they are up to), and no matter how pleased the MAGAs are, most of them aren’t travelling all that way to go regularly, so their pool of audience members will have shrunk.

      We saw _The Sound of Music_ at the Kennedy Center in September.  This time the scene with the Nazi flags was especially poignant, and relevant.  Despite the ‘new management’, it’s still one of my favorite spaces in DC.

      It’s hard to believe that the sophisticated patrons of the arts among the MAGA crowd haven’t bought tickets to the Kennedy Center shows. Of course there is a lot of competition from Monster Truck Rallies and Cole Slaw Wrasslin. Also, there’s only so many times you want to see Lee Greenwood or Kid Rock.

      MAGAs aren’t typically Kennedy Center attendees.

      But soon enough Trump will start holding WWE Events there and attendance will skyrocket!
