Dumbass doesn’t know the difference between quantum computing (now) and quantum tunnel effects (back in the 80ies, clearly earned the Nobel price and the basis for quantum computing)

Could someone explain to him? And please, if you are on the way explaining, also make clear, that the nobel price is an honour to be awarded, not a race to be won.

      Thanks for your attention yadayada…

    2. On one hand, I’m glad we get to watch him slowly lose his mind.

On the other, a lot of us saw our grandparents succumb to dementia and this is bringing back sad memories.

    3. Yes, that Nobel peace prize will fit in very nicely with his other imaginary triumphs..

    4. This is exactly why Ai is going to replace these idiot middle managers and toxic leadership. We can just have a machine spew this crap instead.

    5. Bro aint happy with the legacy he rolled. Let’s never invite him back to one of our campaigns… 😐

    6. That was discovered during the Obama presidency.

Also it was a collaboration between an American, a Frenchman, and an English guy, who were jointly given the prize.

International collaboration with foreigners? Trump won’t like that.

By this logic no scientist has ever won the noble prize as it was actually won by their wealthy backers.

That’s some weird rich man logic.

    8. “This work was done in 1985, so I suppose you should credit another Republican, Ronald Reagan”

Chris Wright? The fracking industry exec who donated hundreds of thousands to Trump’s campaign and was rewarded with the post of Energy Secretary? The climate change denier, whose statements were characterised by New Scientist as “wildly and embarrassingly wrong”? That’s who he’s quoting?

And taking credit for the 1980s work of British scientist John Clarke, who describes Trump’s science policies as ‘disastrous’, ‘a huge problem’, and ‘crippling’. I’m sure he’ll enjoy sharing credit with the ever gracious president.
