“Even Worse” is a 1988 comedy album by “Weird Al” Yankovic, and it’s often seen as a turning point in his career. The title is a cheeky parody of Michael Jackson’s Bad, with a matching cover showing Al dressed like Jackson but in his own nerdy way. The lead single “Fat” spoofs Bad and became a hit, complete with a hilarious video filmed in the same subway station as the original.

The album also includes “I Think I’m a Clone Now”, a parody of Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now, and “(This Song’s Just) Six Words Long”, which jokes about how repetitive George Harrison’s song Got My Mind Set on You is. Another fan favorite is “Lasagna”, a silly take on La Bamba filled with jokes about Italian food.

Besides the parodies, Even Worse also features originals like “You Make Me” and “Melanie”, both packed with Yankovic’s trademark humor and quirky style. The album revived his popularity after a career slump and proved that his mix of sharp wit and musical talent could still make people laugh and sing along.

    2. MJ loved Weird Al’s parody songs. He even let the video of Fat be shot in the same set where Bad was shot.

    3. I hope Al found peace after getting assassinated by his former lover Madonna. Shame on Jackson for blatantly ripping off Eat It though.
