I mean, I think in general, Dads are very gentle with daughters and moms are very gentle with sons.
My dad would take me running or hiking at a very young age. Annnnnd then have to carry me home because I’d tripped and scraped my knees. Ma would be content with carrying me around or holding me *very* close by when we went out together at that same age.
By contrast, my cousin and her parents were the exact opposite. Dad would carry her around constantly, mom would push her along to walk instead.
At least that I saw.

Idk… If I had any fight with my dad, shit would have went down (he used to be a bouncer but is now a bit old, and I trained martial arts + gym). But we never did any physical contact like that.
