Everything’s bigger in Texas, except where it counts

It is good to recall that, even in Texas, there are huge voting base that did not support him. 42.5% voted for Harris (yes, I can math) but to write off an entire state based on the net result is to also write off those that think like us.

Boston born, forced to live in TX and 12yrs ago I left the biggest state for the smallest. BEST DECISION EVER MADE.

Ahh, Texas. The one star state.
Hey, Texas? Why did you put your yelp score on your flag?

“That’s why I’m paraplegic! It *wasn’t* God dropping a tree on me because he/she/it knew I’d grow up to be a fucking asshole, it was the Tylenol the whole time!” – Greg Abbott next week, probably.

What makes it even dumber is that this is purely performative to boost Paxton’s senate run. Which means his campaign team (probably correctly) calculated this is something that 51%+ of voting Texans will think is very cool.

They also believe that Greg Abbott is a “real” man that can stand up to Trump!

As a young boy (just turned 60), I was proud to be from Texas. Now, I’m embarrassed to live in this dystopian, red state nightmare. Our leaders are morally bankrupt, christo-facist pieces of shit. I’m surrounded by hateful, racist, willfully ignorant crybabies and bullies. Our governor and our attorney general are the worst kinds of people. Genuinely evil and irredeemably callous. If ever a state needed an enema, it’s Texas.
