Problem is after the board members each got their 20 million dollar bonuses all the profit was gone, so there was nothing left to give the workers their $1000 bonuses.

Why was this posted today😭I’m about to have a meeting if we are getting a bonus or not at my job today. They were negative profit last 3 months but then told us they opened up a new location and bought 3 new company cars so let’s see what’s new this time.

Revenue and profit is not the same thing. Even if there were no exec bonuses and similar BS company can have high, even record breaking, revenue but if they have old debts and/or other cost they can still have a net loss in the end.
