    1. oh no I’m being cancelled but at least I’m still getting my hundreds of millions from spotify and/or netflix

    2. When Rogan has actual quality comics on his show it’s jarring because they just comedically run circles around him. The contrast is nuts.

    3. Every time someone says this out loud, comedy takes one step closer to being genuinely funny again.

I disagree. Different people like different comedy. Hiding behind “cancel culture” is stupid since if you’re funny enough it doesn’t matter, but at the same time there are plenty of people and groups that will take a 10 second clip from a one hour special and use that to demonize someone. To try to prevent that makes sense because going into a comedy show you (should) know what to expect but scrolling through the Internet is different. Some of the comedians that have popped up due to Rogan like Shane Gillis are hilarious but when I saw what his jokes were that got him cancelled from SNL I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. In the end comedy is subjective and to pretend your belief on what is funny should be everyone’s is just foolish.

I disagree. I think it’s revealing who the true hilarious and respectable comics actually are and it’s helping to make room for them to flourish while killing off dead weight

That’s not to say that I respect anything about the rogansphere, but if there’s one positive thing that came out of it, it’s that probably

    6. If you feel that way then you must not really be into comedy at all. The “Rogansphere” is such a small pocket of the comedy world. All manner of quality comedians are putting out an endless stream of material.
