I was on food stamps during a tough time in my 20’s due to a nasty combo of depression and head trauma. I got through the tough time, now I’m salary scheduled and will make six figures in two years. I own a home and a small pickup, and I have an investment portfolio.
It was really nice not starving while I recovered from head trauma and received socialized counseling; it made my recovery possible. I figure I cost tax payers maybe $8,000 total. That’s less than my savings account today, not to mention investments and purchases. That $8k has a multi thousand percent ROI. This is why that stuff is good.

Some of my patients are single parents, sometimes widowed, sometimes making it work with a partner, but fucking ALL of them are suffering *DESPITE* 1-2 jobs *AND* trial income. And believe me, they are *SUFFERING* in more ways than one already and this will shred them.
These undeserving people do not see the pain up close like a lot of us do; hell, a lot of them act like it doesn’t exist or are too stupid to believe it doesn’t.
