    1. Ugh. Here we are talking about Thunderdome _again_. Can’t we get _beyond_ Thunderdome?!

    2. “Remember where you are – this is Thunderdome, and death is listening, and will take the first man that screams.” God I always loved that quote!

    3. I feel like this could be concept art for Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, if Khan were Tina Turner. Which I have to say, might have worked.

    4. “Do you know who I was? Nobody. Except on the day after, I was still alive. This nobody had a chance to be somebody.”

    5. She owned this role…took it seriously and did the best with what she was given. I’ll always respect her for that.

Her stretch marks are visible in this picture and I respect the hell out of that. What you see is what you get. All natural.

Mad Max : Beyond Thunderdome era. She didn’t just act in that movie she became the post-apocalyptic queen and never looked back

    7. Always liked her character.

      >Do you know who I was? Nobody. Except on the day after, I was still alive. This nobody had a chance to be somebody.

She was ruthless and cunning but also principled and fair. I like how at the end when she had Max dead to rights she just walked away and move on. As a character she’s more emotionally mature than Max, he constantly lives in the past and refuses to move on integrate into whatever is left of society while Aunty Entity as soon as she knows she lost simply moves on to start over somewhere else, she didn’t take Max’s slight personal, he was a pawn, she lost, even killing him served no purpose to her so he became nothing to her.
