    1. Tried wiping it off with some cleaning chemicals I use to clean glass surfaces and phones but only some it came off

    2. Now that’s mildly interesting. I can’t figure out for the life of me how something like this happens. You said it’s permanent so it can’t be dust.

    3. Dust and grit build up between the case and phone. Tiny movements act like sandpaper and dull the contact surfaces. You could probably use some polishing compound to restore the fine finish if you wanted to.

    4. A thin layer of plastic resin from the case transferred to the phone’s composite shell due to heat and moisture…is my guess.

    5. That’s the most first result on Amazon looking case ever. In fact I’m pretty sure I’ve bought it before
