If I remember correctly, I think this means that you’re less likely to have your abdominal wall separate during pregnancy. I’m sure it carries its own risks, but interesting to think about

Not at all. I’m a labor and delivery nurse and a mother of 5 who had a uterus that tilted to the back.

    3. So is my wife, we just had to have sex upside when we were trying to get pregnant. It was a little awkward at first but heck, everyone in Australia does it that way.

If that’s your anus it looks like an upside down face looking at your vjj 😃sorry for the pains you must go thru I’ve heard birth control pills make periods shorter, and I’m sure there’s ways to enjoy yourself and work around where it hurts

    5. Mine was like this and I had horrible back pain when I had to poop. Gone now with my hysterectomy

    6. Mine too. I’ve had healthy babies, although at times it was difficult to find the heartbeat due to their position at the time.

I have an anteverted uterus and I have no idea what that means or if that’s the same thing as what u got

Mine too. If you ever get an IUD it’s going to be extremely painful. That’s how I found out about mine.

A girl told me that she has orgasms through anal sex cause of that. I didn’t want to be weird and press her for more details, but also thought she was bull shooting me

Are there medical implications? More back pain? Reduced Fertility? All your babies would be super heroes?

    11. Mine was as well. Helped it slide right out as it slowly prolapsed and made the fertility treatments more uncomfortable. I also think it made my period cramps harder to figure out since when the uterus is retroflexed then more of the intestines are pushed down to the front so it was hard to tell if I was cramping or having digestive issues. Good times.

    12. I have that too. Tampon insertion is a real pain in the ass. As were cervix checks in pregnancy.

    13. Mine is, also. I’m 50ish now, but my menstrual cramps were COMPLETELY DEBILITATING when I was young because I felt them straight thru my gut to my back. I’m old now, and I have about 4 pounds of fibroids in there (no idea when they started, my first ultrasound was at age 50) and I was horribly anemic with non-stop bleeding. I had one very healthy, huge baby, but never was able to get pregnant again.

No idea if this is normal.

Mine too. I never needed mine (never wanted to become pregnant) but a friend of mine her doc told her it would make conceiving harder but she had no issue with that lol

That’s so interesting! Can you still get pregnant and give birth normally? And if you got pregnant, would you still have a big bump? Does it cause you any pain? So many things I wanna know lol

    16. My mom has this. She told me when I was an adult and I told her I was trying to have kids with my wife. It was in the context of not freaking out, she remembered the doctor telling her about it when she was pregnant and her being super worried about it, but she had two kids naturally with no issues, so I guess it’s not a big deal. There is a lot of stuff the doctor can tell you that may sound alarming or concerning, but take it from me, a father, the human body is quite amazing, it can work through a lot of things.

That being said, I have heard from my friend that his fiancée has this and the only thing he noticed is that certain positions feel better for her, but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary.
